On Saturday, October 4th, in Brooklyn, anyone with a canvas and paint is invited to take to the streets and paint a personal response to present day America. Whether that’s the current financial crisis or the war in Iraq or the fact that parts of the South have infant mortality comparable to 3rd world countries is completely up to you.

Our friends at idealist, famous for their non-for-profit job board, are helping the job market by making it easier for organizations to post jobs on their website.  They are waving the $60 fee to post jobs for the entire month of june for free.
