We recently finished the design and are in production of clothes recycling bin covers for Wearable Collections.We thought the we would share a litte bit about the project with you.Super clean, super clear was the brief when thehappycorp re-designed the bin covers for wearable collections, the clothing recycling network in NYC. Wearable Collections reduces some of the 386 million pounds of textile waste headed toward our landfills each year, raising funds for various charitable organizations in the process. The bins are stationed all over NYC, in apartment buildings and high traffic businesses with weekly pick-ups, and the newly designed bin covers make cleaning out your closet easier than ever.The covers are made out of canvas material, with reinforced hems on all sides, and are fastened together easily with velcro attachments. A bold text box gives clear directions –  recycle your cloths, shoes, curtains, linens, handbags, belts right here — and a clear 11 x 17 sleeve contains valuable partner & sponsor information. All graphics are one color and were applied with one standard screen print helping to keep costs low.Aside from providing clear, to-the-point directions and info, the covers act as billboards for Wearable Collections, making them easily recognizable all over the city. Cleaning out your closet has never felt this good.
