Deutsch Telekom Loses Magenta Suit

 | by your friend

We’re showing our pink pride this week after news broke that Deutsch Telekom, the parent company of T-mobile, lost one of their court battles in the war to control all things Magenta.

They’ve been slapping around little guys for a while and this time the lowly offender was Telia, a rival European wireless carrier. Fortunately, the Danish court judging the case ruled in favor of Telia citing that not only did Telia and DT not compete in the same markets but that Telia’s color was infact a slightly different shade. Good news for any future cases that don’t use T-mobile’s exact Color No. 395 52 630.

Come on T-mobile, if you’re going to bogart a color you should at least be able to recognize it.

Over here at thehappycorp we’re sticking to our guns and holding on to our Magenta. If T-Mobile wants it, they can try to come and take it.
