WHAT: Ramak Fazel set off in a camper van to photograph every US state capitol building. His budget didn’t get him to Alaska and 1/3 of the way through the trip Homeland Security started monitoring him as a potential terrorist threat.

The resulting photographs contextualize 49 edifices of state power in the seedy, ordinary, public landscape.
