To help raise money for mosquito bed-nets in Africa, Les Savy Fav frontman Tim Harrington is appearing as the Biggest Mosquito in the World for the VH1-sponsored Nothing But Nets campaign.

In America mosquitoes are irritating; in Africa they spread malaria while you sleep. “Nothing But Nets” is raising money for repellent-treated bed-nets, perhaps the difference between life and death.

Watch for the part in the commercial when Harrington’s straw reaches ACCCRRROSSSSSSSS the room to drink from a woman’s coffee mug. Shades of There Will Be Blood, which, sadly, is only playing at one theater in NY right now. Go see that movie and watch Mr. Harrington in this PSA do what he does best.
