Its been a while since the last update, as the Matthew Spangler’s out there have been keeping quiet across the interwebs. Well, you can’t keep us down for too long. We return this week to spread the exciting news of our namesake. Somewhere in the great state of Iowa there lies West Hancock high school where last week Halie Mohr and Matt Spangler were chosen 2007 homecoming queen and king. In case you were wondering, Halie is the daughter of Tom Mohr and Jill Mohr, and Matt is the son of Dave and Julie Spangler.

Thankfully, the good ole Eagles made Matt and Halie proud as they won the homecoming football game. I can’t put it any better then Eagles coach Bob Sanger, who said “We took care of business, sustained drives and held our blocks…and I thought we did well in all parts of the game.” Took care of business indeed. That’s exactly what Matt Spangler did. Good work raising the Matthew Spangler name side by side with the Kings and Queen’s of yore.
