IDEA Conference 2007
| by your friend
That’s why we can appreciate the mission of IDEA Conference, gathering innovators and mavericks in the creative/advertising industry to share how they turn a simple idea– the apple, the rabbit, the kiss– into an influential experience.
IDEA Conference 2006 welcomed the likes of architect David Rockwell, Alex Bogusky, Second Life creator Philip Rosedale, Kid Robot Founder Paul Budnitz, and Google chief engineer, Craig Neville-Manning.
At a sold-out event at the New Worlds Stages these men and many others elaborated on the way their failure to adapt to convention in a left-brain world has actually helped them succeed creatively in ways that may be imitated, but probably not reproduced for one reason: there is no way to be original other than to be original.
IDEA Conference 2007 is November 15th in NYC’s Nokia Theater. Check out a list of great ideas inspired by simple things, and get your tickets here.
Similar “big idea” events that pack in the creatives are TED, and Semi-Permanent, which thehappycorp proudly hosted in NYC in 2005.
