The site rests on the notion that restless boredom inspires greatness; the most momentous achievements throughout history, from the first man on the moon to the first atomic wedgie, are born from boredom.

The proof is in the pudding, as areyoualwaysbored offers glimpses into hundreds of boredom-conquering achievements: giant hamburgers are taken to the hole, karate experts go down swinging, and a naked stormtrooper-masked gang on a hot streak await you.

All of these things are presented via a thematic clock: A new image appears each second, and new themes are introduced by Sneaux spokesman and archetype of cool Steve-O each hour.
