A+B buttons mash Wiimbledon

 | by your friend

Last weekend Dave Franzese, designer for aaarrr, and Erin Sparling of thehappycorp global put on short-shorts to become the two most important buttons in gaming, A+B, for the world premier of the Wii tennis tournament, Wiimbledon, at Barcade in Williamsburg.

Dave and Erin joined a menagerie of other costumed competitors, including one guy in a giant bear costume, a sauced Harry Potter, and a bunch of ladies in tennis skirts to compete for the grand prize of a Wii console and eternal bragging rights.

The battle was definitely not the strongest or swiftest, more like to the most utterly convincing: top honors went to Luigi, one Russ Yagoda who could have been the Italian plumber even without the overalls.

Though they didn't win A+B were certainly some of the most entertaining competitors. Catch their choreography in a video on Rocketboom and jumping jacks on MTV news.
