Recipe for Happiness

 | by your friend

This is one variation on the classic recipe for happiness. It won't make the golden years, fond remembrance, snug in a rocking chair kind of happiness. This recipe is much more indulgent, full of barefoot abandon and mysterious joy.

Preheat bread oven to 600∘ (if you don't have a bread oven, line a conventional oven with clay quarry tile.)

Add 4 cups daylight to a wooden mixing bowl (newly warm 6am summer daylight works best.)

1/2 cup Sound of Oscillating Sprinklers. Stir.

Mash in one stick of Reunion (Must be cold, firm. The embrace-heavy kind is best.)

Drizzle in 4 tbsps of Sudden Exhilaration (we like the flavor of I Forgot! Today's Saturday! for its caffeine rush.)

4 hefty dollops of Hot Shower in Winter (a very important step; this gives Happiness that lasting tequila-like warmth when it's in your tummy.)

Dust lightly with A handful of Love at First Sight (since this can be hard to come by, a sprinkle will do if you're short.)

Let sit on top of the oven until the mixture is slightly fluid, warm to the touch. Then whisk quickly with The Speed of Birds while cracking in
the First Plunge of a Roller Coaster.

Pour into a square glass pan and place on center oven rack. Bake for the span of a good dream. Share with your friends.
