This marks the beginning of a relationship to extend their brand into a variety of sports marketing avenues. Stanton Shade understands that the success of an athlete’s or company’s sports marketing program is now based on more than just strong TV ratings and individual performance, Stanton Shade will leverage new media to spread the positive message of its inspiring athletes. We are honored to help them with this mission, working together to provide smart ideas and bold creativity to their strategic thinking.
Stanton Shade co-founders Amy Stanton and Sheryl Shade bring over 20 years of experience in sports marketing to the company. For the past 15 Sheryl Shade has run a firm specializing in representation of Olympic Athletes including among others, Mia Hamm, Shannon Miller and the Hamm brothers and marketing of various entertainment properties, including the marketing and merchandising responsiibilites for Ken Burns award winning documentary series Baseball. Amy Stanton is the former Chief Marketing Officer of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and prior to that the marketing director for NYC2012, New York’s Olympic bid committee. Both women are avid marathon runners and bring the same persistence and excellence to Stanton Shade.
