Our first year as mothers was a gift from above and our new bodies have us feeling that things are finally just as they should be. Have you ever been held against a mother's body by a pair of father's arms? Stop by our office for a little slice of heaven!

Elizabeth , Hani, and Kathy are all set to graduate from Saint Anthony's Middle School for the Mentally Accelerated this spring. The last report card our little darlings brought home looked like a Scrabble player's worst nightmare: all A's!

Lauren's first term at F.I.T. was full of accolades and praise from faculty and staff. Our little gem is busy working on something she has taken to calling “The Velcro Thong.” We're not quite sure how it will work, but apparently it can “rip off with no effort so I can get busy getting my mind off of what lousy parents you two are!” We'll keep our fingers crossed, darling!

Richard is still very enthusiastic when it comes playing his video arcade games and is as mischievous as ever! You might notice that our holiday portrait has caught him in the midst of considering stealing his brother's watch! What a scamp!

Erin celebrated another year of constant tinkering and technological wizardry by treating himself to a low-tech, but completely ravishing, white cashmere scarf. You can tell by looking into his eyes: this is one happy genius!

Nick and Jennifer are still thriving at CUNY, and with Nick's recent promotion to Dungeon Master as well as Jenn's crocheting talents, our two little turtle doves are the busiest assistant managers you'll find this side of the Hudson.

Mark, our muscle man, brought home another set of medals from the tri-state weight lifting/pie eating competition this fall. We're going to have to buy another fire place just to get a new mantle just to have more room to display all of his lovely trophies!

April is really settling into her role as our oldest daughter. Wrapping up her final year at Vassar, she has written and is set to direct a one-woman show, “Black Eyeliner and Spiked Bangles: You Never Hugged Me Enough.” Her female-only band, Ripping Hammer, continues to play on weekends.

Carlos returned, full of stories and with reels of film, from shooting his latest arctic documentary. His most recent exploit explores the mating habits of arctic snowflakes and features their elusive mating-dance, a sensual phenomena he has taken to calling “Winter.” Is someone cooking pommes frites, or do I smell a trip to Cannes? HELLO!

Benjamin continues to wow us all with his limitless compassion and speed reading techniques. The corner stone of our family, the book according to Ben in 2006 featured a missionary trip to Guadalajara, his 100th reading of the bible, and 35% gratuity at every restaurant we ate at! Stay tuned for his foray into public radio, “Babies, Clouds, Puddles and The Homeless: God’s Face is There,” this spring.

Davie, our middle child, came home from Saint Anthony’s Military School for the Socially Bananas the top of his class! Three kills in just one semester? Overachiever much? His headaches persist, but with the night-terrors having been replaced with battle-field flashbacks, we are all lined up and ready to salute our special little Davie!

Helen was home from Los Angeles only long enough to take this photo and close a few bank accounts. We haven't heard from her since our annual trip to the Olan Mills portrait studio, but her film work in Burbank is surely going well.

Happy Holiday’s, from our family to yours, and we’ll see you in 2007!
