This Tuesday, (CLL) PHN-LCKN will finally confront the problem of SMC head on and provide a cure! LVHRD, in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art and PopRally, presents an interactive event designed to address the modern day ritual of social cell phone usage.

Upon entry to MoMA, attendees will be required to check-in their mobile devices by LVHRD facilitators, which will then be bagged, tagged, and carefully placed on a 10×40 foot wall. The storage of the phones on a grid system will create an enormous single screen, controlled by LVHRD, that will produce a unique spectacle incorporating all attendees. All phones will be returned when the event ends.

Art rock band Les Savy Fav will be there performing a special show from 8:30-10:00 pm, and DJs from The Turntablelab are set to spin. Also, for all those interested, is PopRally, a new series of events at MoMA open to all (CLL) PHN-LCKN attendees. Titled “Out Of Time”, this exhibition highlights “the temporality of time”, giving examples of how modern-day technological advances allow us to manipulate time.
