Boing Boing spies Aaarrr
Shiver me timbers
On Friday, September 15th, in pursuit of all things pirate, the world wide web’s directory of wonderful things, known to many as
Boing Boing, included
Aaarrr in its listing of online
Pirate Zen. Though many might see this as quite an accomplishment,
Boing Boing being one of the internet’s most popular blogs, the pirates of Aaarrr have taken a personal offense. Accustomed to being under cover, operating on the fringe of the digital seas, the pirates of Aaarrr see this blatant exposure as an affront to the pirate ideal. “And what’s all this crap about zen?” questioned pirate
Kat Choi. She has a point. Aaarrr’s past work, most of which can’t be discussed with “landlubbers” and “chumbuckets”, is far from zen. “What we’re doing is pretty kick ass awesome,” says Choi.
Nevertheless, if you fancy finding more pirate-related pastimes out there, you’re encouraged to visit Boing Boing’s post.
