Always dreamt of shakin' what your mama gave ya, but can't find anyone other than your mama and your dog to pay attention long enough? Perhaps you are THE prima ballerina in search of a little extra spotlight action?

Then we have one question for YOU:

Are you ready to take on 11 other dancers in front of a rapt audience of hundreds at LVHRD's Battle of the Moves 2?

LVHRD and The Winger are holding auditions this Thursday, August 17th at 6pm at the Alvin Ailey Dance School (map). This is an equal opportunity audition, judges such as New York City Ballet member, Kristin Sloan won't discriminate based on your dance background. In fact, LVHRD wants people schooled or unschooled in all genres of dance.

LVHRD needs people who have the stomach to withstand the ruthless challenges that will be put before you. In the competition, you will be asked to perform to a variety of surprise songs, sometimes with surprise props. Your spontaneity and your creativity will be vital to your survival. It is not one dance style that triumphs, but the dancer who can rise above a variety of genres to be crowned Champion of Dance.

LVHRD will select only 12 dancers from the auditions, so don't hold back, show us what you've got. You must be 21+ to enter and be available on the night of September 12th. There are no application or registration fees for the competition, so you don't have to steal money from your mom's purse.
