LVHRD BEACHES!

As tourists wandering the big city, the LVHRD members at this years Island Cruise needed a tour guide to help them find their way. Luckily a walking, talking, cigarette smoking Empire State Building was on hand to guide the tour(ists) from the Seaport to the Water Taxi Beach located in Long Island City, Queens; a location with a name to confuse even the most prepared, map-savy tourist.
LVHRD tourists dug the nautical nature (ie: parking lot covered in sand) and enjoyed activities such as beer drinking, hot dog eating, and (of course) volleyball playing.
Everyone was thrilled to get out of town for a while, especially the tour guide:
“Getting out of the city made me feel young again,” boomed an excited Empire State Building, “like i was only 30 stories tall again.”
At the end of the evening LVHRD members received a hand delivered message from founder Beauregard H. Montgomery extending an invitation to submit their own insider views of the city to MTV’s VMA website. As a way to welcome the VMAs back to NYC, LVHRD will contribute their city-savvy members’ videos, pictures, soundbites and more to VMANYC2006.com. What a trip!
