LVHRD Information Leak, or Content Coincidence?

am NEW YORK’s cover story on Thursday July 20th, ran just one short week after LVHRD announced its (CLL) PHN-LCKN, an event focused on removing the social crutch, hand-held distraction that is the cell phone.
The uncannily timed article chronicles an increase in thumb injuries related to handheld device use, as well as a list of medical symptoms and remedies ranging from theraputic exercises to surgery. With the announcement of (CLL) PHN-LCKN, LVHRD proposed a few remedial exercises of their own. At the core of this LVHRD event, participants will be required to hand over their hand-helds, and they will be applied to a guarded wall. Attendees will look but not touch as their devices buzz, beep, and blink. Meanwhile, interaction and participation will be encouraged through a slew of digit distracting activites for those hyperactive thumbs.
