SCENE: May 20, 2006, WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK - DAYTIME

The camera does of fly over of Washington Square Park in New York City, we see the distinguishing arch, and the circular fountain area. The park is packed with people, it is a gorgeous day outside, the breeze is blowing the trees. We see people throwing the frisbee, dogs are running around, people are playing guitar, there are a couple of booths with people handing out pamphlets.

The camera pans over to three people sitting on the wall out the outside edge of the park.

DOUG (obviously Hungover)

Wanna build a deck today.

MATT ( possibly even more hungover, looks straight ahead, shrugs shoulders)

Sure.

DOUG

Kristin, you wanna give Gary a call?

KRISTIN ( mello )

sure.

KRISTIN (pulls our her phone and makes a call)

Hey, what are you doin today?

(pause for response)

You wanna help build a deck. Yea, behind thehappycorp. Ok, we’ll see you over there in a half hour.

And so it was in this situation that the four person team headed back to thehappycorp, planned, built and completed a glorious stage addition to the formerly unused back corner of thehappycorp global back porch. By the evening, the deck held multiple people and the grill. And we feasted on sausages. And we were happy.

We look forward to seeing you all this summer behind thehappycorp for Brooklyn Beer, HiBall energy tonic, and of course some good conversation.
