thehappycorp Wants You To Laugh At Our Intern!
| by your friendIntern
thehappycorp loves its campers. Particularly when they are comedic geniuses. Like Dan Zalevsky, who busies himself around our office by day and transforms into a FEARSOME comic by night. Dan’s sketch comedy group, FEARSOME, is currently performing “FEARSOME . . . AND SUCH” at The P.I.T. (The People’s Improv Theatre, at 154 W. 29th Street). After some rave reviews and sold out shows, they’re extending the run of their new show through January. We’ll be checking it out Friday night, since we like Dan, we like to laugh, and we like being encouraged to BYOB.

FEARSOME is known for their signature fast-paced and unabashed comedy. Rather than follow the formulaic convention of “sketch, blackout, sketch,” they move seamlessly from one scene to the next, creating a continuous stream of relentless, daring comedy. FEARSOME has been nominated as Best Sketch Group for Emerging Comics of New York Awards 2005, won “The Vital Funny” Sketch Competition in 2004, and was an official participant of Chicago Sketchfest 2005, Sketchfest NYC 2005, and Portland’s Best of the Best Sketchfest 2005.
So, if you like things that are funny (and we hope you do), we think you should go see FEARSOME and have yourselves a jolly good time. Tickets are $8 apiece, and the remaining shows are scheduled for December 9 & 16 and January 6, 13, & 27. If you want to reserve seats in advance, you can buy your tickets here. Otherwise, you can purchase them at the door.
