Hudak Sails the Seven Seas

There comes a time in every Captain’s life, when he must embark on his own journey across the Seven Seas. When he must hoist the mast and point his sails to uncharted waters in search of new adventures. And so it is, that on this day in thehappycorp and AAARRR history, Captain Rob Hudak, his lovely lass Jen Harper, and their trusty mutt Townes embark on the next chapter of their adventure.

They will be heading down to the beautiful shores of New Orleans where they will be raising little first mates, and enjoying the sweltering hot summers and flashers of Bourbon Street. We look forward to visiting, where we’ll surely see Rob manning the grill and sitting on his porch strumming away on his guitar collection of eight guitars, while we sip sweet ice tea under the gentle whirring of a white ceiling fan. Ok, maybe it won’t be a Faulkner novel, but you get the idea.

So…last night thehappycorp crew headed over to Lakeside Lounge, the very spot where Rob and Jen met, and toasted our friend with a proper farewell. There was plenty of photobooth fun to be had, and if you know anything about thehappycorp, you know we’ve never met a photo booth we didn’t love. Above are a few of the highlights. Good times.

So when you’re down in New Orleans, and you walk into a local blues bar, and are greeted by a special surprise performance by Dr. John, don’t be surprised if that local you see playing guitar on the session is our very own Captain Rob.
